Mr. Lynn has a statewide litigation and counseling practice.   As one of Vermont’s most experienced trial attorneys, he has tried well over 100 jury trials, including catastrophic personal injury, employment discrimination, civil rights, business disputes, and construction claims.  In his counseling practice, Mr. Lynn collaborates with clients, often as general counsel, in developing strategies to mitigate risk and to achieve objectives. Where requested, Mr. Lynn represents clients in matters outside of Vermont.

Mr. Lynn has over 30 years of experience in the courtroom. Few lawyers have tried as many civil matters as Mr. Lynn. Whether it is a jury trial, court trial, arbitration or an administrative evidentiary hearing, Mr. Lynn understands the most effective approach to presenting the client’s case. He works with clients to develop litigation and trial strategies to maximize outcomes.
Personal Injury
Mr. Lynn has represented clients in hundreds of personal injury matters. He works closely with clients to establish the most compelling case possible, assembling experts, and to pursue a thoughtful approach to litigation and advising clients on their best settlement posture. When trial is necessary, Mr. Lynn will not hesitate to aggressively pursue the client’s interests in the courtroom.
General Representation
Clients often want advice, even when there is no litigation. Mr. Lynn works closely with public entities, individuals and businesses to support risk mitigation efforts, effective internal and external communications and drafting documents that support their goals. He uses his professional judgment and experience to collaborate with clients when important decisions are made.

Mr. Lynn has authored nationally published chapters on litigating and trying brain injury and psychological harm cases.

About Mr. Lynn

Mr. Lynn founded the firm in 2001.  He is a member of the firm’s education law practice, advising clients on employee discipline and collective bargaining agreements, misconduct investigations and employee discipline.  He also counsels clients on how best to comply with the various laws governing employee leave, discrimination and accommodation. Mr. Lynn has a construction law practice which includes drafting and enforcing risk transfer provisions, payment disputes and construction defect claims.

When clients find that they have matters that generate media and public interest, it is important for the clients to clearly communicate.  Mr. Lynn has successfully represented numerous clients in high-profile cases where a significant component of his work included messaging for the client.
