Litigation Legal Assistant

Lynn, Lynn, Blackman & Toohey, P.C. has an opening for a Legal Assistant within their litigation team. The firm is counted amongst the larger mid-sized firms in Vermont with a civil litigation and counseling practice. LLBT’s commitment to client service is centered in its tradition of excellence in trial and written advocacy skills, within a modern entrepreneurial environment.

This is a full-time, in-person role as a Litigation Legal Assistant with some flexibility for remote work. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support working collaboratively with our attorneys and paralegals. Responsibilities include preparing legal documents, managing case files and deadlines while also maintaining organized client records to ensure efficient, high-quality client services.

Qualifications:
Proficiency with MS Office 365 and its applications
Possess exceptional organizational skills and an aptitude for prioritizing tasks to meet time-sensitive deadlines
Strong communication skills, particularly in writing and editing (including proofreading)
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, utilizing strong interpersonal skills
Familiarity with litigation processes and legal terminology
Prior experience in a law office or legal setting is preferred
Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is ideal
